如草食性毛孩出現食欲不振、排便數量異常、便便形狀及大小異常等情況，請勿單靠食用Oxbow草粉，應盡快求醫並按照獸醫指示(份量及稀釋度)下餵飼Oxbow草粉。
在一般腸胃不適的情況下，診所會建議家長以 1：5 （1份草粉5份水）來稀釋Oxbow草粉，稀釋後再根據動物的食慾，使用針筒餵食或灌食。不同的身體情況獸醫會建議你不同的比例稀釋Oxbow草粉，煩請按照獸醫指示餵食。
